Our Candles

Of course! When your Handmade candle has reached the end of its life, you can soak and wash out the remaining wax with hot soapy water. If any stubborn wax remains, place your candle in the freezer. Once the wax hardens, it can be chipped out along with the wick. Carefully empty the wax out and wipe clean. Re-using our jars could not be easier. They make great small planters for succulents or cacti and also make great mini storage solutions for pens, pencils and bathroom accessories - anything you like!

Always allow the wax burn pool to reach the outer edges of the jars before extinguishing the flame, this is particularly important on you first burn. This will prevent the wax from "tunnelling" and allow your candle to burn evenly. We recommend burning your candle for 2-3 hours at a time but for never more than 4 hours. Never leave the candle unattended. After use, your glass jar can be recycled - in any way you like!

Because we use natural wax, our candles will not have the same scent throw as paraffin candles. We like that our candles are not overwhelming and can be used daily. Our candles fill a medium-size room nicely.

There are so many reasons, We love that it's a renewable material and carbon neutral. We love that it burns cleanly, evenly and for a longer period of time than paraffin waxes. We love the way the wax smells when blended with fragrance oils. But most of all, we love working with wax that is a non-toxic and a natural material that we can touch and feel with human hands every day without damaging skin.

We use a premium blend of man-made and natural fragrances for all our products, as they
1) allow us to create more complex scent profiles;
2) are more sustainable to produce; and,
3) allow us to offer our products at an affordable price.

Our Diffusers

We find that our reed diffusers fill small to medium spaces, such as a bedroom or bathroom quite nicely. We like that our diffusers won’t overwhelm a room and can be enjoyed in the same space every day.

Our reed diffusers last around 10 weeks plus , usually longer. For the best fragrance experience, we recommend flipping the reeds weekly or when the fragrance becomes faint. We also suggest keeping diffusers away from direct sunlight or anything that emits heat to prevent the reeds from drying out prematurely.

Each bottle is filled with precisely 100ml of scented diffuser oil. You will notice that the diffuser oil does not completely fill the bottle. This is to prevent spillage when the reeds are placed in the bottle, and allows the diffuser to properly soak up and disperse the fragrance.

Handmade Reed Diffusers contain fine fragrance oils that are made of a blend of both naturally and synthetically developed ingredients. We develop our products to be safe and cost-effective for our customers.

While we love our Reed Diffuser fragrances, please do not consume or use the oil on your skin as perfume and keep away from children and pets. Please place your diffuser on a coaster or mat. If the oil does spill, clean up immediately, as the oils and resins can cause damage to some finishes and fabrics. Our Reed Diffuser fragrance oil is not strictly made up of essential oils and is not developed for use in water-based aromatherapy diffusers or humidifiers.
